Freehand pottery in Luckenwalde, near Berlin and Potsdam
No wheel, no experience needed. At Die Pottbäckerei you shape your own piece with your hands, we fire and glaze it for you, and you take it home a few weeks later.
What we offer
Open pottery evening: two hours of freehand pottery, together with other guests. Material, firing and glaze are included.
Family workshops (from age 6) and kids' birthdays: with guidance throughout.
Team events: a screen-free afternoon or evening for groups of 6 or more, in our workshop or at your place.
Golden Hour: the workshop exclusively for two people, 2.5 hours.
Vouchers are available online and make a good present.
The workshop has room for 14 guests plus 4 extra places for children and companions.

Single places such as the open pottery evening can be booked online. The booking form is currently in German only. If you prefer, write or call us and we will gladly book for you. For groups, kids' birthdays and team events, please send a short enquiry.

We are on Luckenwalde's boulevard. There is a multi-storey car park and parking at the Nuthepark within walking distance. We serve Luckenwalde, Berlin, Potsdam and the rest of Brandenburg.

Workshop sessions: Mondays from 16:00, Fridays from 15:00, Saturdays from 10:00. On Tuesdays to Thursdays we arrange sessions on request. The exact dates are in the booking form.

What happens to your piece?
We fire and glaze your work. It is usually ready after about 2 to 3 weeks. You collect it in Luckenwalde, or we send it within Germany. After our message that your piece is ready, storage is free for four weeks.
